Certification of Water Treatment Equipment
JWRC has certified or evaluated specifications of equipment and material used for water treatment facilities upon applications from manufactures. The JWRC certification on a product provides water utilities with a reliable criterion to select from among competing products.
Certification of Ultraviolet Disinfection Unit
JWRC has provided a certification program of UV disinfection units, where a committee of experts reviews applications to the JWRC standards that are based upon regulations of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Not a few water utilities in Japan require JWRC certification as a condition for installing UV unit in their system.
